There are tremors in the floor of my building.
I am on the 15th floor of the Wells Fargo building, the "tallest office building in Nevada" (at 18 stories), about a block or two East of the Strip.

I felt them yesterday too.

I have a window office on the SW side of the building. What I felt was, as if the floor structure of the whole 15th floor was the surface of a pond, and someone dropped a rock into it, and my office got jostled by one of the outlying ripples. Or like it was made out of a giant piece of poster-board that someone just shook- like you do to make that "warping" sound. It all just rippled into a bouncy "twanngggg". The walls creaked a little. Then everything was back to normal.

This really is starting to freak me out.
But all is quiet and no one else is freaking out. No alarms, no... anything.

I am... not sure what to do about this.

Have you checked online to see whether somebody's reported a seismic event?

Are you sure you are not in Grand Prairie/Irving TX? Ya know we had some seismic events recently.

Check the US Geological Survey website... probably something like www.usgs.org

Q: Are there active faults near Las Vegas?
A: Yes. Just as many as in any other part of Nevada. But they may not have earthquakes as often as in the other areas.
Nevada is one of the most active states in terms of the numbers of earthquakes.

Stop throwing rocks in the pond! It freaks out the office building workers, and the fish don't much like it, either.
