Potential Scam Warning
You may have recieved a invitation for Green Zap from various
sources.
We have looked into the situation and found that the site contains
various hidden codes that we have deciphered as malicious content and
may open a portal to any private information you have stored on your
hard drive which may include bank account information, credit card
information.
We can not determine them to be a legitimate site but we can see
the warning signs so we have decided to take the necessary precautions
and not promote nor advise people to click on any links that will open
this website.
The reasons we think this may be a scam to us is when the site is
broken down into it's original coding, the site contains malicious
content. Upon disabling our firewall we found 113 malicious codes and 89
instances of malicious spyware.
There are no disclaimers on the site.
If you are going to be a professional payme! nt method you need
these legally...just look at Stormpay or IntGold.
There is no information on the company
There is no referrance to a support e-mail or phone #
You can refer people but you can not login to a members area to
view any referrals.
Please exercise caution if you receive any emails or electronic
correspondence concerning this site.

Date: 2005-04-22 12:31 pm (UTC)in addition to the malware, which i didn't read about, the comany is being run out of a po box in the back of a grocery store in a mostly hispanic section of cali. and the owner of the company has been accused (although never prosecuted) of stealing millions of dollars through pyramid schemes, one of which is remarkably like this one, only it was mail-based, not Internet based.
That's some fucked up shit.
