My dastardly plan

so, I just talked to my Food & Bev Prof about next wednesday. I told him, 'look, I'm a transfer, and it'll be my 21st birthday, and I don't have much of anything planned. So I was thinking I'd do something different this year. What do you think if I drove to Rochester really early in the morning and got enough Krispy Kreme doughnuts for the whole class?' (We were having a discussion a few classes ago about quick-service chain restaurant expansion and everyone got off track debating the merits of Krispy Kreme vs. Dunkin' Donuts, and while I'm more of a Dunkin' Donuts girl m'self, Krispy Kreme obviously had the majority's adoration.)

The Prof thought it was a great idea, and had no problems with it being disruptive or anything, and said I could store all the boxes of doughnuts in his office till class. I was kinda worried about 'em getting stale, since I have to wake up hella early and make the 2 hour drive to rochester at like 4 in the morning, to be back in time for Chinese at 9:00. (F&B is my last class of the day at 3:00.) But he thinks they'll be fine. He said I can either stash 'em in his office or in one of the wine-cellar walk-ins, if keeping them cool would be better. I called the Krispy Kreme place and they said they'd give me a 20% discount off of 16 dozen donuts. score!

Though I must say how anyone could place Dunkin' Donuts about the splendiferousness of Krispy Kreme I know not! ;~P
