*heavy sigh*

I am done with finals. I removed the bitchy rant i had here because I now feel too weary and worn down to bother being so pissed off. It doesn't help anything, and I should know better than to let my emotions get the best of me in this highly political machine.
it's just.... been a very. long. year. I will work my ass off this summer too, but it's a different kind of work, an actual job that I can leave at the end of the day and come home and have nothing to do but take a shower and go to bed if i'm exhausted. I mean, there will be the usual personal maintenance, trips to the grocery store, post office, laundromat, etc., but at least i don't have stay up all night slaving away on a project for someone who doesn't even appreciate it, or to save some other sorry student's ass just because they're in my work group. I intend to sleep a lot, when I'm not working. Yessirree. But I come home to Texas for one week before I go back to NJ for work, so I've still got much packing and a weekend in the airports to look forward to.

Oooh, speaking of which, the one bright thought of my day is that I may (by the grace of the gods) be able to make it to Scarborough this sunday, for one day.... *crosses her fingers* I reeelyreeely hope so. I need the change of pace-- i need to remember life outside this campus... I miss you guys...
