What Drink Are You?

uhm, yeah. I don't really care for martinis. But then, I've never been a huge vodka or gin fan. Icky plain alcohol taste that never ends. I don't know how people drink them with a straight face. I also associate them with drunk old white men in ugly golf clothes with conspiratorial crotcheyness in stuffy country clubs, like the one where I worked this summer. I'd much rather have an Irish Coffee or a shot of nice scotch, or a midori sour, thankee kindly. But if they wanna call me 'sophisticated and beautiful', I guess I won't argue too loudly. *grin*
*sigh*
much with the prelimminess. I have 3 of them this week. It's 1 am. still at the library. taking a brief study break. I want bed. Bed wants me. thus, I dare not go home till studying is finished.
Tomorrow: 255 (Hotel development and design) prelim. I will pass, it's only a question of how well. shooting for an A, will be content with anything in the B range.
Tuesday night: Wine culture and history prelim. This is the most failed class at Cornell because it's so easy to slack off in. I have heard horror stories, and I am afraid.
Friday: Mandarin (written!!) prelim (AHHH!!!). Sheer Terror. 6 Chapters worth of (around 240 new) characters to know, both simplified AND traditional forms. I don't know how I will possibly pass it. My brain needs a portable USB drive so I can download stuff and plug it back in at will.
okay. back to work. *whip cracking*
