it has been so long since i've written and there's so much to say and yet i have trouble putting anything down in a logical order when I try.

First off, I must send belated nativity wishes to kymberlynn and mishajames: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Second I must express my squeeage of fandom to firestarter33, cluegirl, and redwing for their recent Ventures of Amazing Talent: SQUEE! ^_^
I am blessed to know such cool peoples.

Third I must tell mspish: I Miss You!! When do you go back to HWS? My car works now, and I am SO coming to see you when I get back. And I'll bring wine.

And finally, I must SQUEE again because I finally got to see RotK and it was AWESOME. Goodness gracious me oh my, it was so good that even though I started to have to go to the bathroom halfway through the movie I sat there and held it till the very end of the credits, it was that good.
Me n' Bearhugger agreed that it was definitely worth the wait to see it together, giant Tolkien geeks that we are.
(we are both the kinda people that woulda gotten tickets to the midnight-before-it-opens sneak-preview showing of any of the LotR movies, but we have a standing date every year to not see it until we see it together, and yesterday was the first chance we both had. Now that's self-discipline.)

Other than that, the indie movie Girl With a Pearl Earring is showing 'round these parts and I'd like to get other people to go with me 'cause it looks delicious. I'll try to post another update real soon with possible theaters/showtimes and mebbe we can find a time that works for most people who want to go.

I feel a more personal, longish-style post creeping upon me... but until I get my thoughts sorted out some more, I will hark to the wisdom of discretion being the better part of valor, and end this for now.
