Someone just emailed me -- unsolicited-- to ask if I take commissions.
Do I? You betcha! *happy dance* I am no big-time 'artiste'... so right now, I'm sorta flattered that anyone noticed my work, at all. Ahh, the simple pleasures of the naive. What was that we used to say at hawkweird? Don't destroy my fantasy? Ermm... yeah, something like that.

Oooh, Spring Break can't get here fast enough. I can't wait for the work of my hands and the fruit of my mind and heart to be purely for personally-intended purposes instead of institutional ones... to belong to myself again... ahhh....
Right now my mode of existance is no sleep, lots of studying, and no sleep. Did I mention the not sleeping thing? Yeah. Always happens before a break. The faculty loves to cram it all in the one or two weeks before hand, just to laugh while they make us work for it.

And, I don't like to pester, but I'll ask again, for those who may have missed it last time-
What magickal herbs do you like/have you used specifically in a protection context? I guess "Overarching Love" herbs would work as well, but I really was going more for the protective vibes. It's for a storyline I'm writing.
...C'mon, I know some of you awesome people out there have way more knowledge than I do in this area... I'll.... I'll bake you cookies....or something... ^_^;

if i'm understanding your question, i've found burnt sage helps clean everything up before you do any protection spells.

thanks for the advice, and yes, sage is lovely, but usually more for clearing/cleansing, I think?
But, since you bothered to reply, I will hold to my word- what's your favorite kind of cookie?
I will make them and mail them to you and your parrot- err, kitty.

it never hurts to get things clean before you do something.

alcohol swabs dont do anything when you're getting an injection other than get things clean, but they're important nonetheless :)
